Planning for Snow Removal

Hello GMP residents.

As we prepare for our first significant snow fall of 2025 we wanted to remind you of a few things.

The HOA is responsible for clearing some side walks and our private streets this will be done with our contractor Rockwater. All other streets are the responsibility of VDOT and their contractors. Please see our map for HOA areas.

Remember that you are responsible for your sidewalk and to try to keep it clear. Also a good tip is to move cars and basketball hoops off the street to allow for easy street plowing.

We are not sure about trash and recycling pick up but you can check that status here.

GMP always looks wonderful in the snow if you get any good pictures forward them along for our website. Enjoy the sledding and if you have any questions feel free to reach out to us.

2024 Annual Board Meeting Updates

We are pleased to announce that during the annual meeting held this evening, Joe Payne was elected to serve a three-year term as a board member of Greene Mill Preserve. Congratulations, Joe!

Reflecting on 2024, we celebrate a successful year for GMP. We've made significant strides in landscaping improvements, enjoyed a bustling pool season, and witnessed increased clubhouse rentals. Our community members have been incredibly engaged, making our social events truly memorable.

Looking ahead to 2025, we're thrilled to share that we will maintain our monthly fees at their current rate while embarking on some exciting new projects and refreshing key amenities.

Your involvement is crucial to our community's vibrancy! If you're interested in volunteering for an event or special project, we would love to collaborate with you. Please reach out to any of our board members to express your interest.

Next year’s Board Meeting dates have been set and posted on the social calendar:

  • March 3

  • May 5

  • August 18

  • October 20

  • December 15

Thank you for your continued support!

Joe, Nick, Karin, Chad, and Allison

The Grinch takes over GMP!

The grinch will be going around the neighborhood collecting new unwrapped toys for Evan’s Golden Heart foundation this Saturday December 14th at 4pm.

The toys will go to pediatric cancer patients getting treatment at Inova and Children’s hospitals.  You can also bring toys to the clubhouse at tonight’s HOA meeting or during the book club meeting tomorrow night.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me at karinarnold.gmp@gmail.com.

Thank you!!!!

Cookies with Santa

The holidays are quickly approaching and Santa has a stop planned at the GMP Clubhouse on Sunday December 8th from 5:30-8:30pm.

Sign up below - please include the name of your kiddo(s) and any things they might like for Santa to help with the Christmas magic and personalize the experience.

We will have cookies, seasonal crafts and a holiday movie running.

Remember, Santa likes to spend time talking with the kids so time slots may not be exact.  They help us keep a steady flow and provide a better experience overall.

If you have any questions, email JoePayne.gmp@gmail.com.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
