As many are aware our trash and recycling company has changed a number of times in 2018, with Waste Management being the company we have most recently been serviced by.

We were informed this morning that Waste Management has sold off the contract for our neighborhood to what would be the 4th company in 1 year to service GMP. The new company is called Bates Trucking, and service with Bates begins on 1/1/2019.

Bates will continue to follow the Tuesday, Friday pickup schedule. For this holiday week, they will pick up only on Friday for trash, and Saturday for recycling. Christmas trees will be picked up on normal trash days these next two weeks.

Additionally, as part of our budget planning for this year, we had made a decision to move to a new company. Those efforts are still under pursuit as they were held up by Waste Management and their understanding of the contract we were operating under. As soon as we have more information it will be shared with the community.
