Follow up to Special Meeting

Thank you to those residents who came out this evening to learn more and voice your thoughts. In Executive Session after the Special Meeting on August 19th, 2019, the Board voted to suspend Executive Session to the next Executive Session immediately following the September 3rd, 2019 Board meeting to allow the Special Committee for the Commercial Lot to further analyze and provide recommendations to the board members for final consideration.

Residents of GMP

Soon you will be receiving a letter with information about the commercial lot and official notice of a special assessment information meeting. This will be the board's only public statement until the time of the meeting. We know given the history of this issue there are bound to be some strong opinions. We fully encourage a discussion among our residents but ask that those discussions remain respectful and productive. While no vote has taken place the letter will give an example of our worst case situation. We will be prepared to listen to and answer as many questions at the meeting as possible. We will also have our realtor in attendance to lend their opinion and expertise on this issue. As always the board is committed to finding the best solution for GMP that protects our green space and our home values.
