Proxy Vote This Tuesday

As notified via US Mail, a proxy vote meeting is going to take place at the clubhouse on January 7, 2020 at 7pm regarding the commercial lot.  

The board continues to hold the position that purchasing the lot provides the greatest opportunity to ensure the harmony of the community is maintained for years to come.  With many voices indicating an opposing view and call for the proxy vote to rescind, the board encourages every association member to be equally represented and have their voices heard by their presence or by proxy.  

Please come to the meeting to be heard, discuss, and vote. If unable to attend, contact anyone of the board members for assistance in delivering your executed proxy.

Greene Mill Preserve Association Members Annual Meeting

Thank you to the large attendance and constructive conversation in this evening's Homeowners Association Meeting. Congratulations to Joe Payne for being re-elected to a 3 year term this evening.

In Executive Session, the board agreed to maintain current positions (Joe Payne - President; Jeremy Baker - Vice President; Nick Holmes - Treasurer; Stephanie Duffy - Secretary; Chad Thompson - Member At Large).

Cookies with Santa

Skip the mall and head down to the clubhouse for our traditional GMP cookies with Santa event December 7th from 6pm to 8pm. We will have Christmas movies playing, make your own Christmas picture frames and plenty of cookies as well as a gluten free option. Hope to see everyone there.

Cigars Under the Stars - Nov 9th @ 7pm

Join us for an adults-only event to unwind and enjoy a little fall weather out on the Clubhouse patio.

We’ll provide light apps, please bring your own cigars and beverage(s).

Note: Steph has one patio heater, we would love to borrow another if anyone has one to bring one down.

Commercial Lot Update

The board would like to update you about the special assessment for the purchase of the commercial lot. We apologize for the delay in this official communication. We have been diligently working behind the scenes to ensure that all of the proper steps are taken as we move forward.

Unfortunately when the letter was sent out there were a few mistakes that have caused confusion and many questions. (1)There was no date to start the 60 day period for the association to overturn the boards decision. (2) There is no meeting scheduled by the board to overturn our decision. (3) The correct email address for questions is Greenemill@gmail.com and we welcome your messages and questions. With these errors and many questions we are calling a “time out”.

There will be a new letter that should clear up many of these issues, answer more clearly about the associations ability to overturn the decision and an official restart to the 60 days.

We apologize that the letter created more questions than it answered as that was not our intention. We will always be as open and transparent as we can and we want to make sure that this special assessment process is done by the book.
