2022 Holiday Schedule - Residential Collection

In preparation for the 2022-2023 holidays, we wanted to reach out to let you know of our holiday schedule. Below, you will find a complete schedule for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years:

Thanksgiving

In observance of Thanksgiving Day our offices will be closed and no services will be provided on Thursday, November 24th. Except for the Town of Leesburg, Thursday's regularly-scheduled services will instead be provided on Saturday, November 26th.

For customers in the Town of Leesburg only, collection services will be shifted by one day- Thursday's collection will be on Friday; Friday's collection will be on Saturday.

Christmas and New Years

Christmas and New Years Day both fall on a Sunday and will have no impact on your regularly scheduled collections.

GMP Board Meeting, Tues 26 July 6pm

The next GMP Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 26th at 6pm.

The meeting will be held at the clubhouse. For those that are unable to attend in person, dial in details are below.

So, mother nature has other plans, and today's weather looks dicey. Please see the adjusted timeline:

3p* - As long as weather holds out (up to 8p)

  • Bike Parade "Kick-off" with Arcola (Arcola back-up date of Mon, 7/4)

  • Grubber's returns to grill burgers and dogs

  • Kona Ice to cool us off

  • Inflatables are up and ready for racing, bouncing and sliding

    • NOTE: All inflatables need adult (18+) supervision, but as volunteers are setting up they could very well be ready for use prior to then. So, when you see them up, you’re welcome to play!

9p - Fireworks by the Soccer Field (approx. 9:15/dusk) 🎆🎆🎆

In short, when you hear the music, smell the grub... C'mon down! We appreciate your understanding as we pivot..
